What can you focus on and influence that makes sense and best impacts how you consciously lead your life, your health and your - self?
Sometimes it just feels like we are swamped and keep finding dead ends.
But what if we considered these dark corners as opportunities to strengthen our resilience muscles?
With these themes at the core, I was delighted to be invited to open a professional development day focused on stress management, resilience and wellbeing as keynote at Bonn International School.
In examining stress and our conscious response to it, options for self-regulation and the potential this unlocks, my keynote addressed some of the research backed spokes that help our wheels remain balanced and well tuned.
On a personal note, sharing this expertise, knowledge and passion with 150+ colleagues I've known for years in a different capacity felt very vulnerable. In the moment, it felt like so much of who and what I am was on full display. Somehow playing this tune in front of the ‘home' crowd felt like one of my toughest gigs.
So I was very grateful to receive so much rich feedback about the sparks (re)lit and triggered, as well as commitments to rewire unhelpful habits and patterns. I look forward to the conversations this opens.
Seems apt that spring is just around the corner! 🌷✨
